wsy-jev-uav-track

A MIT UAV tracking prototype that rolls out semantic behaviors, applies hard safety filters, then asks hosted TypeSafe Jev Choice (api.typesafe.ai/v1/systemone) which next behavior to take.

What it is

Keep flight physics in code; let hosted Jev pick the next semantic maneuver.

What it does: Belief→rollout→hard filter→Jev Choice→confidence/hysteresis gate→controller adapter.

Why it belongs in the showcase: Explicit System One client for safety-gated action select.

Caveats: Research prototype; do not fly on this alone.

Evidence

Public MIT repo, created 2026-10-21, 0 stars as of 2026-10-29. src/jev_uav_track/jev_client.py defaults to https://api.typesafe.ai/v1/systemone and jev-latest, builds Choice criteria from candidate actions, and ships MockJevClient for offline tests. README states Jev only picks high-level discrete behavior; inner-loop flight control stays outside Jev. Not flight-certified.

Caveats

  • Algorithm validation / interface design only — not certified for real flight
  • KinematicRolloutModel is a constant-velocity approximation
  • Live CARLA/AirSim notes in docs are diagnostics, not tracking performance claims

Unofficial case page. Stars / list position observed for heat; do not treat heat as a quality SLA. Review the upstream README before you depend on it.
