Jev Moderation for Laravel

A Laravel package that classifies any Eloquent model with Jev and routes each item to passed, flagged for human review, or blocked using per-category probability thresholds.

What it is

Probabilities become a review queue, not a single hard label.

What it does: On model save, asks Jev for category probabilities and applies per-category thresholds.

Why it belongs in the showcase: Production-shaped Laravel integration with an append-only decision history.

Caveats: Headless; you bring the UI.

Evidence

Public MIT repo, created 2026-10-22, on Packagist as phoenix1331/laravel-jev-moderation. Docs at phoenix1331.github.io/laravel-jev-moderation (HTTP 200). A Moderatable trait and Moderate attribute send configured fields to Jev on save; each risky category has its own review and block bars. Decisions append to moderation_decisions (audit trail). Fake driver for tests; artisan jev-moderation:ping checks the live model. Same author as laravel-jev-hotdog, different product.

Caveats

  • Needs a queue worker unless sync mode is on
  • Filament review UI is announced as coming next, not in this package
  • Moderated text is sent to the Jev endpoint
