What it is
A read-only label for hype on your feed.
What it does: As posts scroll into view, the extension sends the post text to a local relay, which asks Jev one Noul about hype versus concrete substance. High probabilities get a label and a red stamp, low ones a plain label, and the uncertain middle band gets nothing. The extension never changes the feed itself.
Why it belongs in the showcase: A small labeling pattern with an explicit no-label band and a key-holding relay, plus tests for retries, caching and recycled cards.
Caveats: Uncalibrated thresholds; tiny live sample; no license file.
Evidence
Public README; the Manifest V3 extension only labels posts and never hides, deletes or edits them; a local Node relay calls `jev-1.13.0`, retries 429, 529 and 5xx, and keeps the key away from the extension; thresholds: 0.70–1.00 labeled slop with a stamp, 0.50–0.70 no label, below 0.50 labeled not slop; failed requests show 'Unscored'; 38 of 38 unit tests pass with fakes; one live session scored about 10 posts; the repo also holds class material that teaches Jev with this project.
Caveats
- Thresholds are not calibrated against labeled data; the live sample is about 10 posts
- The percentage is one model estimate, not verified truth and not an AI-writing detector
- No license file at intake; depends on X page markup that can change without notice
Unofficial case page. Stars / list position observed for heat; do not treat heat as a quality SLA. Review the upstream README before you depend on it.
