What it is
Rust CLI that searches a live tree the way grep does, but with natural-language queries scored by Jev — no embedding index to build or refresh.
What it does: Scores files and merged line ranges (path:first-last) with calibrated yes/no probabilities; --json / --compact for agents.
Why it belongs in the showcase: A second public semantic-find shape next to jevgrep, implemented in Rust with live-tree scanning.
Caveats: Different tool from dzhng/jevgrep; each scan bills hosted Jev; provider keys required.
Evidence
Public MIT README + cargo install / GitHub Releases; no embeddings or daemon; calibrated path probabilities and line ranges.
Caveats
- Distinct from dzhng/jevgrep (already ingested as jevgrep)
- Hosted Jev cost per scan (author-reported ~$0.005 for a few thousand files)
- Needs OPENROUTER_API_KEY and/or TYPESAFE_API_KEY; Linux release binaries need glibc 2.39+
