Jauvex

An Electron desktop client that runs Claude Code, Codex and Grok Build side by side by voice, and uses TypeSafe Jev for the fast decisions when a key is present.

What it is

Voice steers several coding agents; Jev only picks the fast forks.

What it does: One window over Claude, Codex and Grok sessions with voice control and optional Jev decisions.

Why it belongs in the showcase: Clear boundary between host sessions and typed fast decisions.

Caveats: Desktop personal edition.

Evidence

Public Apache-2.0 repo, created 2026-10-23, about 5 stars as of 2026-10-26. Site jauvex.ai (HTTP 200). Personal edition 1.7.2 for macOS; Linux/Windows from source. TYPESAFE_API_KEY or ~/.typesafe/token optional — without it a small local voice model decides more slowly. Install via curl | sh rebuilds on the Mac.

Caveats

  • Jev is optional; local fallback is slower
  • macOS-first distribution; other OSes run from source
  • Voice stack depends on whisper.cpp and system TTS

Unofficial case page. Stars / list position observed for heat; do not treat heat as a quality SLA. Review the upstream README before you depend on it.
