PasteGuard

A MIT Windows tray agent that watches the clipboard for command-like text, scores danger with hosted TypeSafe Jev, and clears malicious ClickFix payloads before you can paste them into Win+R or a shell.

What it is

Stop ClickFix before paste.

What it does: Clipboard command risk scoring via hosted Jev with tray warnings and clears.

Why it belongs in the showcase: Distinct endpoint-security use of Jev outside coding agents.

Caveats: Windows ops and unsigned binary UX.

Evidence

Public MIT repo, created 2026-11-03, 0 stars as of 2026-11-04. README documents console.typesafe.ai keys, PasteGuard.exe release, SHA256 check, block threshold default 70, and demo GIF/MP4 of blocking a fake CAPTCHA command.

Caveats

  • Windows-only tray agent; unsigned free build may trigger SmartScreen
  • Only command-like clipboard text is sent to Jev — still review threshold
  • Does not execute inspected text; operator must keep the agent running
