Ops heat 2 · Cool★ 0heat incomplete (no X)

inbox-jev (litebox)

Gmail triage product: scheduled passes ask TypeSafe Jev to label, archive and auto-unsubscribe, with Docker, tests, categories.yaml and a plain-language ops guide.

What it is

Production-shaped personal inbox automation on hosted Jev.

What it does: Periodically classifies new Gmail mail with typed questions, then applies labels/archive/unsubscribe rules you configure.

Why it belongs in the showcase: Full packaging (Docker, tests, ops guide) beyond a thin experiment.

Caveats: OAuth risk; new repo with 0★.

Evidence

Public MIT Python repo (0★ at intake, size ~1192) created 2026-10-15. README documents TYPESAFE_API_KEY, Google OAuth, uv/Docker/compose, inbox-jev init/run/--mode dry_run, categories.yaml, pre-commit (gitleaks/ruff/mdformat) and docs/guide.md for non-engineers. Body text sent to TypeSafe is capped by BODY_CHARS.

Caveats

  • Gmail OAuth scopes are sensitive; use dry_run first
  • Distinct from existing jevmail and jev-inbox-triage showcases
  • 0★ at intake — depth comes from code and docs, not popularity
