What it is
The smallest useful image app on Jev, done carefully.
What it does: Classifies a photo and boxes the hot dog in one call.
Why it belongs in the showcase: Shows the not-sure band, image prep and why Box needs a Noul check.
Caveats: Preview feature; tiny eval set.
Evidence
Public MIT repo created 2026-10-19. README explains why the box is drawn only when Noul says HOTDOG (Box always returns a box), a configurable 0.40–0.60 NOT SURE band, image conversion to PNG/JPEG between 280 and 1568 px, the `TypeSafe-Danger-Zone-Images: true` header with `jev-preview` (1.14), a `php artisan hotdog:eval` golden set scoring 12/13 (92.3%) with Jev 1.14, and a fake mode used by CI.
Caveats
- Image input and Box are a Jev preview; formats and limits may change
- Live mode needs your own TYPESAFE_API_KEY
- Toy task; the golden set has only 13 photos
