What it is
Simulated espresso bar where every barista decision is a Jev choice: an XState v6 machine models what the bar can physically do, and Jev only selects among the events the machine accepts at that tick — it never writes an action.
What it does: Plain-English orders → Jev picks grind / tamp / pull / steam / serve events; break the equipment and watch it re-plan. Ships @xstate/jev with a minimal lamp example.
Why it belongs in the showcase: The cleanest public example of a closed-set action tick driven by a state machine, with a live demo.
Caveats: Demo project; no license file at intake; server-side TypeSafe key required.
Evidence
Public README + live demo at https://jevspresso.dev; in-repo `@xstate/jev` package; `pnpm test` runs against a mock Jev without a key.
Caveats
- No license file detected on the repo at intake
- Example / demo project from the XState team, not a production agent framework
- Live play needs TYPESAFE_API_KEY on the server side
