What it is
Shell-friendly yes/no gate on top of Jev.
What it does: Scores stdin against a question and either prints the input or runs a follow-on command when the probability clears your threshold.
Why it belongs in the showcase: Minimal, licensed, System One-first CLI for cron and pipeline gates.
Caveats: Tiny repo; no labelled eval; install needs recent Rust.
Evidence
Public MIT Rust crate (6★ at intake). README documents JEV_API_KEY, default provider systemone with model jev-1.13.0, --threshold, custom --yes/--no labels, providers systemone|cloudflare|openai, verbose score logging, filter mode (exit 0/1) and command-gate mode after --. Example pipes gh issue view into an outage-report question.
Caveats
- Small crate (size 28); no published accuracy study
- Needs a Rust 1.85+ toolchain to install from path
- Cloudflare/OpenAI providers are alternate backends; System One is the TypeSafe path
