What it is
A batteries-included Claude Code harness around hosted Jev.
What it does: Guards tool calls and agent tiers, then routes search, browse, review and compaction through typed System One answers.
Why it belongs in the showcase: High-star public kit with installers, measurements and clear TypeSafe wiring.
Caveats: API key required; third-party browser code; evals are author-reported.
Evidence
Public MIT monorepo (83★ at intake, size ~3537) with modules such as jev_guard, airlock, filesearch, browse/browser, compaction, belay, logtriage, docclass, eval and install. README states Jev returns typed decisions (not text), documents ~/.config/jev-kit/env for TYPESAFE_API_KEY, vendors browser-use/jev-ultrafast at commit 1231850, and publishes measurement tables (e.g. tier-guard 98.2% on 56/57 scored). Updated through 2026-10-15.
Caveats
- Needs a live TYPESAFE_API_KEY; vendors third-party browser-use code under NOTICE
- Author-reported eval numbers; re-run before trusting in your account
- Large surface area — install only the components you need
