What it is
Open-source job-application tool on Claude Code: finds software internships / new-grad roles, fills forms in a visible Chrome window, reads every answer back from the page, and sends only what you approve.
What it does: Jev handles every closed decision (which detail goes in which box, which option, job fit) via OpenRouter; Claude writes sentences on your own subscription; code drives Chrome and keeps records; unfinishable forms land in applications/manual.csv with a reason.
Why it belongs in the showcase: Judgment-before-generation with a mandatory human send step, applied to browser form filling.
Caveats: Beta, Mac-only per README; author says cost / throughput numbers — author-reported.
Evidence
Public MIT README; Jev decides which profile detail goes in which box and how good a fit a job is, Claude drafts text only, every answer is read back from the page, human approval before send. Author says ~1–1.5 cents of Jev per 10 applications.
Caveats
- Beta; macOS + Chrome + Node 22 + Claude Pro/Max subscription per README
- Author says 100 applications in under 10 minutes for about a dollar of Jev — author-reported, not independently verified
- Automated submissions may conflict with some job boards' terms; human approval is required by design
Unofficial case page. Stars / list position observed for heat; do not treat heat as a quality SLA. Review the upstream README before you depend on it.
