A MIT Hermes Agent plugin that routes each turn with TypeSafe Jev via OpenRouter Alpha Decisions (~typesafe/jev-latest), mapping task kind, complexity, capability and deep-reasoning need onto a custom tier table.

What it is

Pick the right model tier before each Hermes turn.

What it does: Intercepts prompts, asks Jev four routing questions through OpenRouter, and rewrites the outbound model.

Why it belongs in the showcase: Focused hosted-Jev router for Hermes, separate from the broader hermes-jev-skills pack.

Caveats: OpenRouter-billed path.

  • Requires Hermes Agent 0.21.4+ and OPENROUTER_API_KEY (not a direct TypeSafe console key)
  • Route table and spend metrics are operator-owned
  • Refactored edition; verify against current Hermes plugin APIs
